What do you create?

I create paintings, and at the same time create digital art.

What is your background and how did you get started? How long have you been creating art?

Currently, I am in my second year of graduate school, specializing in the field of art. My artistic journey began during my formative years, where I discovered my love for drawing, painting, and various forms of creative expression. As a child, I was always captivated by the world of colors and shapes, and I would eagerly spend my free time experimenting with different art materials, creating everything from simple doodles to more elaborate pieces.

How long have you been working from your art space, and can you explain the process of acquiring it?

I have been making use of my designated art space for a year and a half now. This workspace was assigned to me when I commenced my graduate school studies.

How would you describe your designated workspace, and what would you consider some of the pros and cons of working from it?

My designated workspace has been a source of great enjoyment for me, as it has been the site of numerous creative endeavors. One of its significant advantages is that it's a semi-open studio, providing a spacious area shared with fellow artists. This setup fosters a collaborative environment, allowing for meaningful connections and the exchange of valuable critiques of each other's work.

On the downside, a notable drawback is the limited accessibility to food and essential supplies in the vicinity. This can be somewhat inconvenient, requiring extra planning to ensure I have the necessary resources for extended work sessions. Overall, my workspace offers a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.

What is your favorite part of your workspace? Do you have a favorite piece you've created in your space?

My favorite aspect of my workspace is the abundance of light it provides. As for my favorite piece, I can't single out just one; in reality, I have multiple favorite pieces that I've created in this very space.

Are there any new projects or pieces you're currently working on?

I am working on a series of paintings currently.

Do you have a favorite song or sound that helps you get into a creative mood or fill your space with creative energy?

What advice would you give another artist on cultivating a designated art space?

Keep supplies handy, minimize distractions, and establish a consistent creative routine.
