About Yogita Gupta
I have been teaching art, ages 5 to adults (60+), in India, the USA, the UK, and Canada. I have extensive experience developing interactive art curricular that synchronizes art history and various traditional disciplines: acrylic painting, oil painting, watercolor painting, hyper-realistic portrait, charcoal art, 2D and 3D art, optical and perceptive art, soft oil pastel and soft paste art, cloth sculpture, 3D clay craft, pen and ink art, and still life study, to name a few. I adapt my lesson plans to accommodate the diverse needs of different learning styles.
Here are some key achievements from my 12+ years of teaching art:
-
My students participating and winning multiple awards from national (IAC, Veena Vatika, Dessin Academy Art Contest, Greenspace, Art Competition4ACause etc.) and international (Picasso Art Contest, Edarassa ) art competitions, and extracurricular contests I encouraged them to enter
-
Under my supervision, zoom, online and offline, students created artworks which won many accolades, adorning walls of their workspaces, and many successfully selling their artworks and starting individual art classes
-
Teaching students how to collect information for their work and prepare for projects through research, and how to think and implement new ideas. Drawing from observations, proportions, and human anatomy
My goal is to inspire students to apply the information and techniques they learn in my class to share their unique life perspectives.
